How to use

  1. Turn on Provinces, Districts, Local levels — or any mix.
  2. Search a name and click a result to zoom.
  3. For the Rasuwa–Bhotekoshi flood, enable Event layers (extent, bridges, hydropower). Building layers are large and load only when checked.
  4. Paste a CSV of names and numbers, then Color map. Unmatched names are listed in the status line.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I see a map of Nepal with districts?

Turn on the Districts layer. All 77 districts load as a preset. Search any district name to zoom to it.

Does this include municipalities and gaunpalikas?

Yes. Local levels covers nagarpalika, gaunpalika, metropolitan and sub-metropolitan units. Ward boundaries are not included.

Can I see the Rasuwa Bhotekoshi flood on this map?

Yes. Under Event layers, turn on Flood extent, Bridge damage, Hydropower or building damage. Data is open HOT mapping of the 26 August 2026 flood — not an official NDRRMA product. You can also open ?flood=1 or #rasuwa to pre-enable core flood layers.

Can I color the map with my own numbers?

Paste or upload CSV with a name column and a value column. Values join to the active layer and draw a choropleth.
